To many, The Bat may be a surprise. It sits tucked away in the woods, and it has not received much attention over the last several years. Nonetheless, it has an undeniable retro aspect that keeps it relevant, mainly due to it being the successor of the original ride built in 1981 (which was the first modern suspended coaster built). The first drop into the banked turn is undoubtably the most exciting part of the ride, but the other turns mixed throughout are not bad either. In addition. the bright orange colored track allows it to stand out from the surrounding trees.
