Replacing the former log flume White Water Landing, Maverick was not built to be a supreme record-breaker, unlike many other coasters at Cedar Point. Maverick's 95-degree first drop is one of the best on any coaster, and the ride offers rare and unique elements such as a twisted horseshoe and Stengel dive. It also features multiple launches, punchy ejector airtime, and a long ride time, making its case for the wildest ride in the park. Additionally, the station is a double-loading and unloading platform, making its operations among the fastest at Cedar Point.
